Junior Interactive Designer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Translate initial concepts into viable website layouts/designs
• Create web design elements (navigation, buttons, etc) based on internal direction
• Create valid XHTML/CSS driven layouts
• Work closely with design teams supporting Client and Internal projects
• Meet all assigned deadlines
• Demonstrate high standards of workmanship, attention to detail and adherence to company process and industry standards/best practices

REQUIREMENTS:

• 1-2 years of experience (design, interactive, etc)
• BFA/BS/BA Graphic Design, Art, Marketing or closely related field
• Knowledge of Adobe CS including Photoshop, Illustrator and Dreamweaver
• Driven to become an expert on Design, Internet Technologies and Marketing
• Current on creative trends as well as the latest techniques/technologies that help to drive cutting-edge creative.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Intermediate knowledge of HTML/CSS
• Understanding of basic Internet technologies

ADDITIONAL DESIRABLE SKILLS:

• Flash (and Actionscript) experience
• Understanding of Internet Programming languages (ASP.NET, ColdFusion, etc.) and how to best leverage them within the design
• Understanding of basic SEO principles
• Understanding of basic marketing concepts/strategy
• 3D modeling skills
• Video editing and conversion skills
