Mid-Level ASP.NET Web Developer/Programmer Analyst

Responsibilities

Build new dynamic web applications using a given specification and list of requirements
Build enhancements to existing web applications
Provide support for bug fixes to existing web applications
Offer ideas and suggestions on how to improve new or existing web applications

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience in web application programming
Experience with web and software application development using the latest Microsoft technologies.
Flexibility to adopt new and legacy technologies as needed for a given project.
Experience with all aspects of Microsoft SQL server development including data modeling, data transformation, T-SQL script writing and stored procedures.
Understanding of OOP design principles and practices.
Detail-oriented and highly organized.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Comfortable with multi-tasking between several active projects.

Required Skills

Languages/Platforms: ASP.NET, C#, VB.NET, XML, Javascript, HTML, CSS
Database: MS SQL Server 2000/2005
Development Tools: Visual Studio 2005/2003, Dreamweaver
Cross Browser Development (IE, Firefox, Safari for PC and Mac)

Knowledge of Web 2.0 Concepts including AJAX for ASP.NET/Flash/ActionScript
Ecommerce Experience
Classic ASP/VB6/COM/Visual Interdev
Cold Fusion/Homesite
Web and/or Database server administration
