Mueller Recreational Products Launches New Updated PoolnDarts.com
December 1, 2004Mueller Recreational Products, a leading wholesaler and retailer of billiard, dart and other gaming equipment and supplies, has launched the third generation of their wildly successful eCommerce website, PoolnDarts.com, designed and developed by Singularity Design.
The new evolution of the PoolnDarts.com website builds upon the leading-edge eCommerce functionality of the previous versions to enhance the online shopping experience. Key among the improvements are online shopper accounts with order tracking and customer wishlists, automated recommendations for complementary products, and the ability to accept monogram and name customizations when ordering. From a business perspective, Singularity Design also delivered significant upgrades to management tools and administrative capabilities, allowing Mueller to increase the efficiency of their staff.
Mueller Recreational Products, based in Lincoln, Nebraska, initially approached Singularity Design more than five years ago to design their very first eCommerce site. The breadth and depth of Mueller's product offering provided a wonderful challenge and opportunity, and the result was a tremendously successful first generation eCommerce site. In 2002, Mueller decided that the site needed more energy, and again brought in Singularity Design to give it a fresh new look and expand upon the functionality and capabilities. The second generation PoolnDarts.com did not disappoint, generating significant sales and allowing Mueller to leverage their catalog and mail order expertise into the virtual realm.
