February 21, 2005LTCNutritionConference.org, the new website for The First International Conference on Nutritional Needs of Elderly People in Long-Term Care, has launched with the purpose of providing a wealth of information about the upcoming conference and accepting online registrations from around the world.
This conference sponsored jointly by the National Institute on Aging of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services National Institutes of Health represents a unique gathering of scientists, dietitians, physicians, and pharmacists examining issues related to the identification and treatment of malnutrition or undernutrition and involuntary weight loss in long-term care facilities and/or hospitals.
Dimensional Healthcare, the organizer of the conference, wanted to present a wide range of conference information and make it easy for physicians and health professionals to register. Online registration also had to be sensitive to a tiered pricing model based on both the type of registrant and whether they are governmental or not. Singularity Design created a sleek website design that integrated with the conference's official logo and added a bit of jazz with a Flash-based conference countdown timer.
