GetPaidToShop.com Goes Retro with Singularity Design

While the service offered by GetPaidToShop.com should be an easy sell (mystery shoppers not only get their shopping costs reimbursed and get to keep much of what they buy, but they also earn up to $50/hour for their shopping), the site's conversion rate was not as high as the company operating it had hoped. Singularity Design was called in with the goal of creating a polished design that would not only inform and excite potential shoppers, but also reassure them that this is a legitimate service from a professional company.

The resulting website features a 50's-inspired retro design with a lot of flair to generate excitement. It also makes carefully planned use of product photographs of the types of items that shoppers may be buying.
