Fabulous 50 Challenge Online Trivia Game Debuts to Support the American Cancer Society
March 23, 2005Singularity Design is proud to announce the launch of the "Fabulous 50 Challenge" online trivia game. Developed in association with NetPlus Marketing for the American Cancer Society, this Flash-based game was conceived to support the ACS's Fabulous at 50 campaign against colon cancer. The Fabulous at 50 campaign's primary goal is to encourage people age 50 or over to get tested for colon cancer, as such tests can help diagnose it early and save lives.
The game challenges players to correctly answer six trivia questions for 50 points each. The first five questions, pulled randomly from a list of dozens crafted by Singularity Design staff, share the common theme of the number 50. Some of them have to do with occurrences 50 years ago, some have to do with being age 50, and others just involve the number 50 somehow. The final question each time the game is played is about being tested for colon cancer at age 50. Adding to the coordinated message of this game is the fact that each possible answer to the final question (one correct and three incorrect) leads to its own completion screen with a message designed to address that choice.
