Singularity Announces Redesigned Website for the American Red Cross
March 21, 2006
Singularity Design is proud to announce the launch of the redesigned www.RedCross-Philly.org website. Singularity Design has collaborated with direct response experts Grizzard, local technology experts Sabre Systems and the American Red Cross of Southeastern Pennsylvania to create a compelling, easy to navigate and highly goal-oriented web presence. The new site will help visitors to prevent, prepare for and respond to disasters, the Red Cross core missions.
Users can navigate the site with ease through customized action items such as "volunteer," "donate" and "get prepared." As a key addition to the new site, the "Get Prepared" icon drives people to preparedness resources for families, students, businesses and organizations. Here visitors will find everything from fire safety tips to guides for creating disaster plans for their family or business.
The Red Cross SEPA Chapter described the new site in a press release:
"As a leader within the Red Cross system and in our five-county service area, the Southeastern Pennsylvania Chapter has made it a priority to transform the way we provide services to our community through technology. The newly redesigned website will not only provide vital information to our local residents and partners, but it will also generate fresh support for the Red Cross by engaging a younger generation in our programs and services."
While many of Singularity Design's clients are for-profit entities, Singularity has a long history of working with not-for-profits to leverage internet technology for the greater good. The new www.redcross-philly.org website continues this proud tradition.
