Singularity Wins 2006 Interactive Advertising Competition Award

The Fiskars Prune to Win Game, an online Flash game designed by Singularity Design, has been recognized by the 2006 Interactive Advertising Awards as an Outstanding Interactive Application.

The Internet Advertising Competition (IAC) Awards are produced by the Web Marketing Association to honor excellence in online advertising, recognize the individuals and organizations responsible, and showcase the award winning Internet advertising. This is one of the only competitions to recognize only online categories of advertising. IAC Award entries are submitted by advertising and interactive agencies or corporate marketing departments worldwide.

The Fiskars Prune to Win game was created by Singularity Design in the spring of 2005 to help promote the Fiskars garden tools product line. By blending product information, engaging gameplay and server integration, the game serves multiple goals, including:

  1. Growing the Fiskars marketing list
  2. Providing product education
  3. Increasing brand awareness
Following its launch, the game proved to be tremendously successful for Fiskars. With a combination of existing website traffic and viral marketing, over 13,000 people played Prune to Win, with over 20% of them converting to members of Fiskars' marketing list! The game delivered one of the lowest cost-per-acquisitions(CPA) of any of Fiskars online marketing campaigns.
